Increasingly our customer demand that their websites should "work and worth" for iPhone and Android. All dlógica websites works perfectly with all devices as we work with adaptative desings, but we want to go beyond the demands of our customers and we have decided to work with the "Responsive" designs.

What is a responsive web desing?

The responsive web desing is a way to integrate the desing in a website that allow the site to be displayed optimally on any device, either pc, iphone, android, ipad or tablet.

The intention is that responsive web, can be viewed on any mobile device in the best and usable way for the user. As an example, if I have a web site with three columns when I'll display it on my mobile, rather than see all tiny content, what I'll see is a single column, or two depending on the width of my screen, with all the content contained in this column.

The responsive concept was created by a designer called Ethan MArcotte in 2010 and right now is the responsive "momentum" in the web design world. Dlógica has decided to fo for this option in all our new web sites to offer our customers the best options at the best price.

What brings a responsive web desing to my web?

The responsive web design offer a better user experience, i.e., the user naviagation is really more easily. Sometimes, when viewing a website on a mobile, we can find a real problem to see the links or even the letters, etc. It's all too small and we have to zoom in to view or click on the links. With responsive design, this does NOT happen, what will happen is that the design will fit the width of the screen to be  viewed optimally.

Does it mean that I'll need different designs for each screen?

Absolutelly not, with responsive design, you only need a unique design, but it will be displayed differently in each kind of device, that's all. It is true that when integrating, we must make these changes, but they are technical-level adjustments that for the end user are absolutielly transparent, in any case, it is not much more expensive to integrate a design responsive than a normal one.

So if you're thinking about getting a new website or update the one you have, you can not forget this option if you want your users to follow you from their mobile devices.
